Hello, I'm Gary Bainbridge; owner and founder of Old Time Design Company.

I started collecting militaria when I was 6 years old and I bought my first vehicle (1942 Ford jeep) when I was 11 years old.

It's safe to say that my interest in the Second World War is a part of who I am.

My years of researching, meeting veterans, collating information and
collecting original items predominantly relating to British, Commonwealth and US Armed Forces has given me a large resource that I
now use to create the highest quality items.

​My early training as a graphic designer meant that when I started the business in 2015 I had the expertise to faithfully recreate items to a
high standard.

In most recent years, I have been building up experience and equipment to
enable me to offer a new service where I can reproduce, restore or convert items in my workshop.

​When not in the workshop, I am often working with museums and events organising unique and authentic displays and talks. Or consulting film and television companies for their latest production or documentary.
